UMBA recognizes the importance of ensuring our next generation’s continuing scholastic
needs as well as the rising costs associated with that education.
Each year, the Upper Makefield Business Association provides substantial scholarships to local area
students for their continuing education.
|
We give out up to 3 - $2,000 scholarships per year. Fund-raising activities,
such as the annual Golf Outing,
allow us to continue supporting our
students.
We are also constantly looking for new fund-raising activities in order to expand our Scholarship fund.
|
We are a forward looking organization and we desire to add an additional scholarship and also begin to recognize the Vocational/Technical students in our area.
|
It is with your support that we are able to continue in this endeavor.
|
Our scholarship applications for 2009 will be available in late 2008. Applications can be found in the CR Guidance office, at the FNBN and Heritage Pharmacy in Washington Crossing. Please inquire about other locations or suggestions for application placement.
Contact us if you have any questions.
We are currently evaluating an on-line Scholarship Application Form or a downloadable PDF form.
