If a man is in his boat on a lake and an empty boat brushes alongside his, even if he is prone to be an ill-tempered man, he will most likely just push it aside and not give it a second thought. But if the same incident occurred and there was  a man in the other boat, this same ill-tempered man would shout and curse and even try to bring harm in retaliation to the others’ stupidity and negligence. In the great sea of life, sail through as though your boat is empty.
